riverbeds
the apparition of a brontosaurus
lapping water
alive with so much life
particulates snowing
sifted by the nutrient collecting fans
of so many organisms
long since taken by natures process of elimination
some slip through the cracks
to grow toes and ears
attributes that escaped the picking line
something to be thankful for
