Dreams That Haunt and Inspire




landscapes stretching dark and distant
cityscape waterparks
clear water chlorine blast
oil lights and candle glow
illusions
remind refugee residents
of the way life once was
brands and cans of
of spray on tan
structures of thrills driven
into some land
opossum snarls and
Cephalopod soldiers
grotesque and prominent
wait, but a tentacles reach away
when the going gets tough
the tough get richer
crust punks spewing hope
onto sidewalks dusted
with the earliest light of day
which way will you go
